The CO₂ Difference
Pure Pharma Labs uses supercritical CO₂ extraction because it yields the highest quality oil without causing damage to the delicate properties of the plant. The results are a safer, cleaner, purer oil with highly concentrated cannabinoids—and no harmful residues such as can occur with hydrocarbon or ethanol extractions. CO₂ also more effectively extracts the desirable CBG, CBC, and CBDA cannabinoids necessary to create the most balanced, full-spectrum products. For these reasons, CO₂ has become the gold standard for supreme quality and safety.
FAQs
There is a lot of buzz about CBD these days, but what really makes a product great? The answer is simple. It is agriculture and extraction. It is what makes PURE PHARMA LAB products different. It is what we call “Farm to Pharm.” Every plant we process is grown by dedicated farmer-partners using the cultivation processes proven to generate a balance of phytocannabinoids known to make CBD products effective. Then this rich plant material is run through our supercritical CO₂ extraction process to bring every microgram of goodness to light. In all of our products the result is a highly effective concentration of CBD plus CBG, CBC, and CBDA— with no additional chemicals or additives.
Full spectrum CBD contains all the cannabinoids present in the plant (known by their shorthands CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC) and trace amounts of THC (less that 0.3%). The complexity of compounds in medicinal plants exerts healing effects through complementary action. This is the entourage effect, in which mixtures of cannabinoids and their co-occuring terpenes have a greater positive effect than just CBD or THC alone. Isolate CBD is thought to be less effective therapeutically than whole plant CBD oil extract.
CBD has many health benefits, without producing the psychoactive effects of THC. “Relaxing, but not intoxicating” is how some people describe the effect. Everyone Has a unique metabolism; therefore, we recommend starting with low dosages.
Although both hemp and marijuana are technically variants of the Cannabis Sativa plant, there are significant differences between them. Hemp is considered “industrial” under current regulations, and is defined as having less than 0.3% THC, the psychoactive compound found in marijuana.
